Within a span of 5 days, I visited 3 pumpkin patches, but you know what? I'm okay with that. I love fall and pumpkin patches are the ultimate way to enjoy this season. On Tuesday, I took Max and Clara to Lakeview Farms for Max's preschool field trip and then on Friday we went back for a birthday party with the whole family. On Saturday we met Jason's parents and sister at Bauman Farms. Both Jason and Jaykob won a gallon of freshly pressed apple cider by slingshotting apples into the eye of the jack o lantern...way to go boys!

I just had to post this picture of Avery...too cute and so Avery

After all those visits, we somehow only ended up with two little pumpkins. How did that happen? In any case, that means we probably aren't done with pumpkin patch visits. Oh well...

Well, of course, the pumpkin patch pictures are adorable. I mean, come on, your kids = cuteness. But the comment I would actually like to make has nothing to do with your post. It's about you in the main family picture on your page. Two things. First, I am digging the title "The 'Short' Version" a lot more than "Simplicity". Secondly, you look amazing in that family picture. I am LOVING your hair. I never see you do your hair curly like that and it looks really good!
I can't get enough Pumpkin patches either. I just love all the Hay and pumpkins. You family is adorable!!
I'm lovin' the pumpkin patches too . . .we went to one last week and hopefully I'll get it posted soon. Your family is beautiful! I love your new family pic at the top of your blog!
Oh my gosh I LOVE your new family pic! So cute! Good job on a cute pic, ok, and a cute fam. Yes, and you look HOT, I am also a fan of the new hair, as I've told you before.
We had the chance to go to a pumpkin patch on Monday night with some friends, but I just couldn't bring myself to it. I know that sounds weird, and here's why: I'm going to be going to pumpkin patches every year from now on, I just didn't want to start that yet! I know it's cute, and cute pics and I'll love it when the time comes, but for now my baby is just happy if I let her out on the front porch to collect sticks and rocks, and that is a-OK with me!
Your family picture is adorable. I love the colors. Pumpkin patches are a lot of fun. I am a new fan of Roloff Farms. That is my favorite of the year.
Your family picture is so cute!
There is an art to a great family picture, that I have not yet perfected.
YOU SURE HAVE!!! ---- Love it!
Great family picture! That's a major accomplishment to have everyone looking good. Yeah for pumpkin patches!
Rache, your family picture is gorgeous and of course, you are the gorgeousest of all! I LOVE your hair, your smile, you! Really, it is such a great shot of you all. You always do such a good job w/family pictures--always classy, but fun and casual. I love it!
I went to the PP twice this year, and it was fun, but I'm jealous of the rich color you get over in Portland. I remember you and I taking Mary and Rachael, as babies, to the pumpkin patch over by North Plains. Do you remember? What a sweet time! Only one baby each--we didn't know how easy we had it. :)
Loved this post! Miss you!
your family picture is so cute and the pink and brown will make for great scrapbook pages. haha. looks like you all are having fun. i just got back from a 5 week trip to okinawa to visit rebecca and family. i had a blast. i thought of you when all the japanese people were loving rebecca's boys blonde hair and blue eyes.
Yes, the picture is really cute, but I thought the Simplicity layout was a bit more creative. Regardless, I enjoy seeing the results of my great genes. Love, Dad
